Wind up Knight 2 adds some interesting twists to the core original : Added checkpoints , making it easier to resume play on levels longer after death , and that you will do often . The game rewards you for not having checkpoints (ie, beating the level in one fell swoop ), but they are there as crutches . Currency system based on the currency in the game is back, and has been added as a new form of money : tickets . The former is used to buy new equipment, such as hard dream to repel drops from the sky , or a diamond sword that shoots a projectile at oncoming enemies . Obviously, like many of the free to play games, and it’s easier to pay the money from the grind of the necessary amount of play, but the robot invader has , as is the case with the original text, balanced the mechanics of the game quite so none of those powerups are necessary to progress through any ever game.
